Lindsay Martin rocks out in Social Decay, as she should. She grew up in Galway, which is in Upstate New York. She may be a rock and roller, but she comes from modest upbringings that small towns create. She says that growing up there "taught me a lot about having good work ethic, being humble and appreciating the little things in life." Plus, Lindsay claims that she was BORN a bad bitch.

The go to fashion uniform for Lindsay is simple yet effective: black skinny jeans, boots and a cut off shirt. So, it's only natural that she looks awesome in our shredders!  Her love of rock music is clear through the way she expresses herself with fashion. She drums her heart out in our LA shredder while playing with her band The Aviators, looks awesome, and immerses herself in the world of music.

Lindsay owes her love for the drums to her dad. She said, "Once he played Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath for me... The drums spoke to me right away. I was hooked, mesmerized, and thought the sound of the drums was the coolest thing in the world! It's like I had a moment... I HAVE to play the drums!" Since then, she's been in love with rock n roll. She counts Motley Crüe, Led Zeppelin, and Avenged Sevenfold as her favorite bands.

For a few months now, Lindsay has had a new gig. She's been playing the drums for a band called The Aviators. They are influenced by, of course, classic rock. They play a mix of old school sounding original songs and covers of bands including Aerosmith, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Foreigner, Led Zeppelin, and Motley Crüe.  That's not all she's up to, though. She's keeping busy and drumming all over the place. She is in an all female acoustic trio called the Blondetourage, going to be in the Guitar Center Drum Off, doing some gigs with another cover band, and recording with friends.

Be sure to keep up with Lindsay on Instagram @lindsayyjewell to see where her drumming will take her next.

My niece has had a passion for music since she was a kid. She has always been driven to play music and has had a natural talent. She is one of the “baddest bitches” I know. I am so proud of her and know she will be a success!
