On a recent trip to LA, I spent a day shopping (well...more like browsing!) on Melrose Avenue, which is absolutely one of the best shopping destinations on the West Coast. They've got tons of our favorite stores, including Nasty Gal, Dr Martens, and even a Manic Panic shop. What?! Plus, there are great bars and restaurants to grab a bite or drink along the way. We stopped at Snakepit Alehouse for happy hour snacks and beers. My favorite locations that I stopped by, though, were some rad vintage shops.
American Vintage
7575 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
Despite the name, this little shop has a small selection of brand new items: lingerie, festival-wear, and jewelry. A lot of it is organized by color which makes everything super easy if you're like me and looking for only black clothing. There is also a huge selection of perfectly worn in flannel shirts.
7428 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
This store is GIGANTIC. You can most definitely get lost for hours in there. It's a used, vintage, and consignment shop. Its shoe selection alone is extremely lust worthy. You'll find Christian Louboutin's, Manolo Blahnik's, and Jimmy Choo's at a fraction of the price.
The World of Vintage Tee Shirts
7701 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
Yes, this place is exactly what it sounds like. It is an OASIS of vintage tee shirts ranging from the popular to obscure. Band tee shirts are organized by genre and by artist, making it super easy to find your favorite bands' concert tees. Warning: the tees are pricey. But, with the selection they have, you may be unable to pass it up.

If you're in LA or plan on traveling there soon, definitely save up some coin and head to those locations to hunt for treasure!
